| Hey there! I just wanted to let y'all know that one of the banned, but tame, storylines from Rasputin Barxotka has been published in Super Fantastica Comix anthology. The first printing only consists of fifty copies, it's full of cool comics from other cool artists, and its available at select comic bookstores. Get yours today! :) | |

| After a nice conversation with Ashbet, I received an email from Stormbringer. It sounds like he might have found a new credit card processor for the sites that he hosts. He had already let us know that the processor we lost might be going to court against the credit card companies, and it sounds like the case has merit. This would be a huge blessing if things work out. It's a long shot, but I can hope. The idea of the extreme art site being released into the wild was making me sick to my stomach. I was pretty much resigned to doing so and placing a disclaimer explaining this messed up situation. If I understood correctly, this might be a really positive turn. I honestly don't care if it isn't the best processor, or its some skeezy outfit from Russia. I just want the option to keep my work away from kids and accessible to adults, in accordance to American laws. On related news, a mini comic containing a art from Rasputin Barxotka/Catamite will be available along with a bunch of other mini comics in the Lutefisk Sushi C bento box. A part of the proceeds from the bento box sales benefits Altered Esthetics, a wonderful non-profit arts organization. Bio-mom health remains delicate, but it is improving. She is also determined to go to college to get her ASE certification and become a mechanic, this fall. I am crossing my fingers. Little Blond's difficulty coping with all of the stress over her mom's health has been affecting her school performance. Thankfully, she has a very compassionate teacher who sees the bright little girl behind the unfinished classroom assignments, and the occasional tantrums. She lent her a math and reading learning machine, and gave a stack of math exercises for Little Blond to work on during the teacher conference weekend. I am so proud that the munchkin is being such a trooper about working on her worksheets and playing with the machine. I am doubly thrilled that her teacher recommended a wonderful summer school enrichment program that's free of cost for Little Blond. She is a very lucky girl to be in such an excellent school. I am sad that I do not have the time to homeschool the child, or the funds to send her to private school. However, it makes me happy that I took her out of a substandard ghetto school and into a rare public school that empathizes the arts, civilized behavior and academic achievement. I appreciate any school that cuts 2-mile radius or less bus rides, raises fees for athletic activities, and constant watering of lawns, before ditching their yearly artist-in-residence program or their commitment to excellence. Not bad for a rural area, eh? Anyway... off to modeling in Minneapolis. | |

| The newspaper that led a crusade against "online violence" involving pixels and non-existent beings, SBE no longer has a credit card processor that is tolerant of extreme art. That means that for the time being... no more Rasputin Barxotka. I guess, scenes of bloody sexual violence are only okay when actual human beings involved in realistic looking situations, appear in a movie theater screen with a pointless script and an R-rating where children under 17 can enter with a parent. Societies around the world really need to make more laws and bring more social pressure against the threat of violent art. It's so much easier to do than actually enforcing/enacting stalking and domestic abuse laws, and it protects people against imaginary characters. 2-dimensional beings are a much bigger threat than repeat abusers and stalkers, right?
GRRR!!!
Gino, I still owe you art. I need to find your mailing address.

| - This morning, I finished post-production for "Khuy," the first promo clip/music video for Upir's Mark. I am going to be making a censored version as well for general, but this one should be a pretty good introduction for what the band is... extremely perverted, Soviet-ish, violent, disturbing and stupidly kitsch-generic-pseudo-satan-occult-ish. Thanks to you-know-who for all the good feedback for the video. I will be getting it critiqued for one final time before I release it, and then I shall release it into SlaveButt.com (not-safe for children or work) and if I can find some clubs that can deal with the content... THE WILD. If any of you (who don't have a membership there) want a downloadable copy or a DVD, let me know and tell me where to send it. Feel free to reply with your mailing address/download link request via email, or here, as all comments will be screened. You have to be over 18 to play.
- Speaking of videos, our roommate Jim and Stickmin who is visiting from Detroit (I hope I spelled that right,) maneuvered marionettes, while I digicam recorded a bunch of stuff for the Rasputin Catamite vlog. Jim even had trained mice for these latest adventures. We also did a small portion of a rather odd "documentary" film about what goes on behind the scenes in the RasputinSpace. It will probably take a while, but there you go.
- Speaking of Jim and Stickmin, Loki and I went to St. Cloud with them and gorged cheap happy hour food and booze. The latter not for me, alas. We met up with Maria and Naomi to grocery shop and gawk at Weekly World News, before it gets canceled. (Thank you Ayperi!)
- Krissy's best friend's brother is among the missing in the 35-W bridge disaster, and his father is trapped in the control building beneath. I am hoping the best for them, but also bracing for the worst. Also Jim's sister's school bus avoided falling off the bridge by about 40 seconds. Thankfully, she and her fellow students, are okay.
- I've been working on business cards, and finally I'm almost done collecting my accounts receivable. I only have one left! This means that I am closer to paying off the business credit card debt. I am very happy about this. Hopefully I get a few more big money jobs, so I actually feel like I'm going SOMEWHERE! Considering I needed no money to subsidize my click-counts and sales tax, I am absolutely thrilled. Although it was really scary to only have $40 in the bank.
- AJ is visiting tomorrow. YAY! It will be nice to have a visitor.
- That's it for now.
I realize that most of you hate the following song, but I don't care. It's the most perfect 80's Mexican soap opera cheese ballad EVER! I love singing this song, and I have the stupidest parody ever.
