The audio is beyond awful since we used the camera on my cell phone. On the bright side, there is senseless puppet violence at my table, even if it is nearly incomprehensible. :)

 

I was entertaining comic book geeks and selling my wares at Fallcon 2009, so I decided to do my crazy hula hoop caricature routine. Everything went well at first. I picked up the sketch pad. I drew while I serenaded a Trekkie decked out in light-up Star Trek shirt. It was all fun and games, until a cute little girl ran behind me and bumped into me. I used a lightweight water hoop for this stunt, so the poor thing wasn't hurt. I made it up to her by letting her spin the hoop to her hearts content. She actually was pretty good for being so little.

 

This is more or less the same dance routine I've done at the Chicago Club and the Aragon Bar, minus the music, dirty artwork and the striptease. This is a family event after all. The water hoop is a bit lighter than I would've liked, but that just makes things a little safer for any darting kiddies.
