A charmed life is a mental construct that people perceive when they look at the lives of other individuals who appear to be more talented/exciting/affluent/lovable/lucky/et cetera. A charmed life is nothing more than an illusion for those who are unsatisfied with their own lives.
Very well put, and absoluetly true! Things often look grand when we are not involved in them. We have no idea what it's like behind the scenes of that so-called charmed life.
