What is your idea of a perfect world? Why do you feel this way?

Perfection is a very disturbing concept to me.  Perfection is the most extreme manifestation of order.  The only way such extreme order can be achieved is by squashing chaotic influences like evolution, accidental discoveries, or opposing ideas.  Perfection suggests that nothing more can be learned, improved or created.  That kind of fate reminds me too much of death or oblivion.  I prefer to live my life to the fullest in a dynamic and imperfect world, thank you very much.

Heh!  This is a perfect illustration of why I could no longer be a Mormon or Buddhist at this point in my life.
