If you don't pick fruits from a tree when they are ripe, they just fall off and turn into a squishy mess.  Unless a person has the motivation to make banana bread or hard apple cider, overripe fruit are really of no use to anyone.  Pick them too soon, and they'll be hard and tasteless.  Waiting for things to happen has a similar result when it comes to desires.  Wait too long, and your dreams will pass you by and become unattainable, unless you have incredible force of will to make it happen in spite of your hesitation.  Act too hastily, and you'll take on a greater burden than you can handle.  Find the right time to make things happen, and what you want will be easier to attain.

I'm lazy.  I like to make things easier for myself.  If that makes me a go-getter, that's fine, but good things come to those who wait.
