I'm unwashed and with bad breath, as I eat my bowl of cereal in this cold morning. I reminisce about shopping trips.

1. Misty O scored. She found a designer jacket that originally cost $200+ for $35. They only had the jacket in plus-sizes. Misty grinned as the skinny bitch (me) complained over the "unfairness" of it all. With a glint in her eye, she told me that I had to blog about her fashion triumph. Vas delivers.
2. Nothing beats shopping for cosmetics with a makeup artist, and also getting a list of must haves for my beauty kit afterwards. Actually, there is: getting home and finding out that every single bit of makeup looks good and works as planned. Lucinda does style consultations and helps you shop for a fee, and it is worth every penny. The money I've saved on bad makeup alone was worth it.
3. Speaking of Lucinda, she has the most stereotypical fashion hound solution for dealing with her relationship issues with her beloved man. Man being difficult? Go shopping for shoes until he submits. Don't let those candy red, patent-leather retro heels fool you with their sweet looks. Those pointy little devils are the metaphorical roar of an angry lioness.
4. Speaking of wicked fashion... Was I the only person who WISHED I could have the cool uber bitchiness of the boss lady in "The Devil Wears Prada"? Thank you Lucinda for sharing this morsel of a movie. Now, I must read the book.
