Loki and I are greatly missing Little Blond.  As I was cleaning her room, I was touched to find a note tucked in between her bed frame and mattress, as if it were hastily hidden before Bio-mom decided to take her away.  It said in sloppy handwriting with two different pen inks, "Nice Daddy and (a quick drawing of my curly head instead of the word 'Nana,' ) bye bye."  It broke my heart, yet at the same time it filled me with hope to know that she still cares about Loki and I.  Finding that note was like a breath of fresh air.  At this point, we've done all we can for her safety and well being.  It is outside our hands now.  Now we're doing all we can for our well being.

I've been sleeping a lot, and finally caught up on rest.  Loki and I moved into Little Blond's room.  We figured it would be a good thing to sleep in the only finished room in the house, and it still radiates happy memories of Daddy and Daughter working on it.  Our move will be a big help in helping us finish the former master bedroom and the rest of the house.  It seemed better than lying in our half-finished bedroom next to an empty monument to what could've been.  We got rid of a lot of our unused/worn clothes and useless stuff make this move possible.  It's amazing how change can put things into perspective.  It's amazing how people accumulate junk without trying.  We have a lot more work to do.  Bio-mom's old bedroom (formerly our walk-in closet) will become the sauna room.  We never thought that we would have enough room in our house for one of those, even though it was a common dream of Loki and I.   Using our space more efficiently by necessity, helped us realize that we could have what we always wanted without further destruction of the forest and wildflowers that surround our home.  Loki is cleaning out his loft, and seeing if there is anything that should go away.  I am typing as I wait for the documents for tomorrow's promo gigs.

I am going to eat some grub, and hopefully the weekend will be gentle to us.
